About Me
Welcome to my personal website! I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, affiliated with the Waterloo Advanced Systems Lab (WASL) within the Systems and Networking group. I am advised by Prof. Samer Al-Kiswany.
My interests are in computer systems, networking, cloud computing, and systems for AI. I’m interested in understanding how systems can be designed to be more efficient, scalable, and reliable, particularly as computing workloads continue to evolve.
Prior to starting my PhD, I completed my undergraduate degree in computer engineering. I have experience in both hardware and software, as well as programming, algorithms, and system design. I enjoy working on challenging technical problems, learning new technologies, and building systems that solve real-world problems.

- Systems for LLMs: Optimizing performance, scalability, and safety guardrails for generative models.
- Autonomous Navigation & RL: Applied reinforcement learning for UAV path planning and trajectory optimization.
Recent News
- July 2026: Our paper “Empirical Evaluation of Proximal Policy Optimization for UAV Navigation in Constrained Indoor Environments” was presented at the 2026 IEEE AEECT conference in Amman, Jordan!
